Version 2.2 offers a catalog of 100 languages. Recognition quality depends on the local model, pronunciation and the text itself.
Multilingual dictation
Dictate and translate across languages
The language you speak, the language of the result and the interface language are separate choices. Set them for the task at hand: a message, a document or a translation of your dictation.
Translation language
Choose the output language separately from your dictation languages. Use Diktator’s local model or Apple Translation, subject to Apple’s supported languages.
Interface language
The app has 13 prepared interface languages. This does not limit the number of dictation languages. This website is available in Russian, English, Chinese and Korean.
Mixed-language speech
Short passages in another language can be recognized independently. Pause briefly when switching languages and review important results.
